Now, drug vending machines are nothing new. John Waters had one in Eat Your Makeup. I can't seem to find a pic of it online, however.

I have never myself seen the famous cannabis vending machines of California and Amsterdam. However, I did manage to snap pics of a small vending machine for pills at the Red Roof in Knoxville this morning.

This machine is in the lobby of a highway rest stop/tourist welcome center on Hwy 95. It sells chips, tampons and Virginia souvenirs. Nice.

Not that pecan or other pies are anything new in vending machines, but these people bake their own. And make pecan brittle, chocolate pecans, and honey-glazed pecans. And grow their own too. Bastrop TX is not far. I could visit.

With all that pecan goodness, how could I not visit?
